This holiday season across the region, Press On has seen beautiful acts of goodwill. In South Carolina, Sarah Hope gathered with friends earlier this month for her birthday. In lieu of gifts, Sarah asked that her friends bring donations to Press On. The checks were sent together in an envelope from Sarah, who said “I wish it could be more… maybe I should have had a bigger birthday group!” We’ll take all the HOPE we can get, Sarah Hope!

Meanwhile back in Augusta, for the past two years teacher Anne Norviel has been donating her class gift to Press On. Each year, as per school tradition, the class “Room Mom” has collected money from students as a holiday gift to Mrs. Norviel, who has redirected the funds to Press On. “I just don’t feel right taking money” says Anne, “As a parent I would rather it go to something way more important and know that it will truly be used.” And used they will be!

Press On has directed over $600,000 to pediatric cancer research this year, largely because of people like Sarah, Anne, and YOU. Thank you for your unwavering support as we press on toward a world without childhood cancer. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year!
