Veterans United’s Surprise Donation!

Veterans United Foundation surprised our teammates at the Community Foundation for the CSRA on Friday with a HUGE check! Literally!
Shell Berry, President/CEO of the CFCSRA, on behalf of Press on Fund, accepted a $10,000 donation from the Veterans United Foundation. Employees of Veterans United Home Loans donate a percentage of their salary to a fund held by Veterans United Foundation. At the end of their fiscal year, the Foundation donates these funds to nonprofits that make a meaningful difference in communities served by Veterans United. Donations were also made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta, Augusta Warrior Project, H3 Concepts K-9 Military Service Dogs and the Women Veterans Organization of the CSRA.
Press On plans to use this $10,000 towards a grant to September’s highlighted project, Target Pediatric AML, or TpAML. Check back for more on this project as September approaches!
