We are humbled by the amazing success of our fifth annual Play for Patrick Tennis Tournaments. We are still in the process of tabulating the results of the weekend, but we estimate that we raised around $75,000!!! I am grateful to the many people who helped plan the weekend, donated items to the auction, sponsored our efforts, and donated to the cause.

Play for Patrick started in 2006 as a women’s doubles tournament at the initiative of a close group of our friends who were motivated by the need to do something to help children like Patrick. In the past five years, thanks to my amazing friends and the unequaled leadership at Druid Hills Golf Club, Play for Patrick has become the signature charity event for Druid Hills and now includes 5 tennis tournaments, a golf tournament, silent and live auctions, and a band party. The generosity exhibited during the weekend was surpassed only by the love and fellowship of a community dedicated to Pressing On in the fight against neuroblastoma and AML.

There is no way to adequately express my gratitude to our friends and supporters. Please know that we are forever grateful to you for helping us fund cutting-edge research into the cure for neuroblastoma and AML. Together, we are making a real difference for children like Brennan and Patrick!
