September 25th, 2017 by Sarah Turner Davis
Time to Turn Awareness into Action
We’ve told you our stories. We’ve raised your awareness. This week is about Action. Each day we’ll bring you a new way to support Press On. Please share with your friends! Today is for the music lovers…
Patrick Chance and Turner Simkins
This Saturday, September 30th, Press On is partnering with FACT Relief Foundation to bring you Buckaroo Music Festival. FACT Relief is a non-profit and grassroots organization that provides financial and fundraising tools to help communities rally support for individuals and families facing the financial burden of catastrophic injury and terminal illnesses. FACT stands for Families and Communities Together.
Buckaroo will feature The Blue Dogs, Black Dawg, Eddie Smith, and the Joey Landreth Trio. Join us for a fantastic day at the Atlanta Polo Fields: Have a drink, watch some Georgia football on our monitors, and enjoy the catering by Low Country BBQ! Plenty of room for dancing, frisbee, and catching up with friends.
With big thanks to the Crawfords, we will be raffling off VIP Tickets to see the Avett Brothers!
Don’t miss this AWESOME event.
To buy tickets or donate to Buckaroo, check out our event page.

P.S. Our goals for ACTION are so audacious they literally cannot be achieved without your help. For the entire month of September, every dollar donated to Press On ~ up to $250,000! ~ will be MATCHED for Target Pediatric AML (“TpAML”), a MOONSHOT project aimed at identifying genomic targets for pediatric Acute Myeloid Leukemia patients so that researchers can create specific, targeted treatments. These targeted ~ and consequently less toxic ~ treatments FOR KIDS are what Press On is all about! Please, if you are comfortable doing so, take just a few minutes of your time to DONATE NOW and SHARE today’s blog post on your Facebook page, or share via personal email with friends whom you believe have the passion to help us make a difference.
Thank you for supporting the Press On Fund!
